Who We Are.
Web Design by Tanya was formally founded in 2004 although our web development experience extends well back into the 1990's. We have extensive exposure in various website content management systems and web applications. We prefer to only use and support open source solutions in most of our projects. While we are based in Cape Town, we have clients that work with us from around South Africa.

Building a website can be overwhelming for most first timers. It is our objective to simplify this process through clear explanations and constant guidance throughout the process. We are not a media company that happens to build websites along with printed material and other desktop publishing services. We only build websites, and address key issues such as website performance, scalability and security, while providing fair value for your budget.

We prefer to build websites in WordPress. As the winner of the 2010 Open Source Hall of Fame Award there is no doubt that WordPress provides a competent platform for running a website. We are however not limited by our affinity to WordPress and would be happy to assist you in building a custom web app or use a different CMS system.
